WORK,WORK, MORE WORK!!!
Feeling quite stressed out about my current temp job at IqDynamics.
I never expected to be given so many things to do - from data entries, office maintenance, buying refreshments, open letter box, check timesheets, bank in & issue cheque, chase payments from vendors (Like a loanshark!), receptionist duties, handle courier, check for faxes and some other accounting duties.
I had no time to even take a short break!
The work is practically coming non-stop. What make it worse is that i am expected to know which documents are for which purposes & where to find all the files. There are just so many things that i need to handle and they trained me for only a few days. It is almost as though they expected me to know how to do everything correctly within that short period!!! Furthermore, the files are all over the places & i got no time to handle so many stuffs. Now i gotta do OT almost everyday for that miserable $7/hr. Seems like they wanna make their money worth! I really hate worklife. This is not the kind of life that i want. Thank god it is only a temp job, but still enough to sap all my energy. Darryl asked me why don't i just quit since it is only a temp job. Easier said than done. I don't think i got the time to look for another temp job. I need the money for all my freaking expenses!!! Arrgh! Damn demoralising to see the money that i saved up over the years gone just like that :'(
Ok lah... here is the good point. Athough the location is at Tanjong Pagar(a bit far), there is a lot of good and cheap food there! The Tanjong Pagar mkt has cheap & nice crunchy prawn wanton mee (According to my colleague, Dian. Haha...), peanut ice kachang, nasi lemak etc. Then there is another food centre at Amoy Street - fish soup, prawn noodles, wanton mee & a lot more. *Drool~ I can even try out different food each day for 2 months. Haha... The best part is some of the food above only cost $2! *Happy* (^-^) Man... i feel so hungry now talking about food :)
Now i am just counting down each day & looking forward to school life again. I gotta hang on, it will soon be over. Gambatte!
