Woot! Been kinda busy with some recent events and activities. Finally can spare a bit of time to blog. Right now, i can think of no better heading than the one i just put for this post. Yes, just a simple "Thank You" to express my gratitude to all my love ones for making everything possible (sounds like some kinda award ceremony. Ha...) For once, i have to agree with somebody that i am indeed a fortunate person, in a certain way. The recent events made me realised that there are certain groups of people in this world that still notice my existence, and genuinely show that that they care through their actions. And i am truely grateful for that :)
Invited my SIM clique for steamboat at my hse last wk to celebrate my bday in advance. Realised i have been having too much steamboating sessions recently. Think 4 times within the last 2 weeks! Probably gotta stop for a while, at least for the time being. Too much steamboats can be frightening, or some say fattening (Just realised these 2 words kinda rhyme. Ha...)

Jas brought her dog, 'Tiger' to my hse. So cute!!!
A surprise chocolate cake which they bought for me. Very touched~~~ Think i told Jas before that i wanted to try the dark chocolate cake from 'Awfully Chocolate' and then i got my wish. So happy and so yummy :)
At the same time, didnt know my parents went to get a cake for me as well. So ended up i have 2 cakes. Oops... But the food were already up to our throat by then. Felt kinda guilty that i can't help to finish it. So we decided to save it for a rainy day. Ha...
Prezzie from them. Really all the chocolate indulgence! Lol~ But i love it!!! Maybe i should go find a job in a chocolate factory. Then i can fulfill my chocolate fantasy everyday. Wahahaa...
Another surprise prezzie, this time from my long-lost-and-recently-reunited 'xiao long bao' friend who still rem my birthday after so many years. Wow... So unexpected yet felt so blessed that i have a friend out there who still rem these little details despite losing contact for the past few years. Luv the cute piggie too :)
A handmade 'invitation card' from my nutty pals which i received in my letter box 1 week before my birthday. Can sense some tricks up their sleeves when i suddenly received this card.
On the day itself, Coconut called Rong to inform her that she was sick and can't join us (excuse 1) while Peanut said she can only join in later (excuse 2). While waiting with Rong and Groundnut (decoys) at Chinese Garden MRT, Donut suddenly called and informed us that she had to stay home and wait for her mum to return because she forgot to bring the the keys out -_-"' (excuse 3). Now that i recall, i wonder how could it be possible that her mum did not bring the keys out. Then how did she manage to lock the door??? And then it was also very suspicious that Coconut did not inform me personally that she can't make it since i am the birthday gal, and had to let me know through another person. Totally not her style. Ha... And so they tricked me to walk all the way from Chinese Garden MRT to Donut's hse (Are they trying to torture me???)...
and lay an ambush there while waiting for their 'prey' to arrive.
And i was greeted with another chocolate cake, and the "magical appearance" of both Peanut and Coconut. Ha!
And a feast!!! Plus my CRABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!! The mere mention of the word 'CRAB' just pumps my adrenaline up another level, not to even mention the sight and smell and taste of it!!! * Ecstatic*
Obviously delighted with the whole effort put in by my gals :)
*P/s: Finally got the chance to play mj with the gals that night cos it's the first time i did not touch any poker cards or mj during cny period :( So happy and i managed to "Hu" a pathetic 2 times. Lolz... Better than nothing cos we only had about 1hr+ to play. Should go 'kai tai' at my hse one day and jio them for another round. Super not shiok to play for only 1 hr+ leh...
MJ is indeed addictive!!!!
