JAY CHOU WORLD TOUR 2008
I am having Jay's withdrawal syndrome right now!
After waiting for almost 2 months since i booked the tickets, Jay is finally in Singapore for his concert!!! Although slightly embarrassed to admit that this is consider the first 'real' concert i had ever attended before (not including those with free admission), i am glad that it has to be Jay's concert. Reached the stadium at about 8.20pm after speeding all the way from bb's home, which was lucky cos the concert started about 5 mins later after we sat down. Just in time! Phew!!! We were seated on the left side of the stadium. Even though our seats were supposed to be restricted view seats, we were glad that it was not as bad as we thought (I expected maybe a huge sound system to block my view. Haha...) Managed to snap a few pictures though it was quite small, but better than nothing. Hee... The special guest for the night was Nan Quan Mama and not Fei Yu Qing which some of the people, including myself predicted.
Here are some of the songs which he sang:
Huang Jin Jia 黄金甲
Wu Shuang 无双
Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi 不能说的秘密
Mai Ya Tang 麥芽糖
Niu Zai Heng Mang 牛仔很忙
Ting Ma Ma De Hua 听妈妈的话
Hei Se You Mo 黑色幽默
Zui Chang De Dian Ying 最长的电影
Qian Li Zhi Wai 千里之外
Ye De Di Qi Zhang 夜的第七章
Ye Qu 夜曲
Cai Hong 彩虹
Ben Cao Gang Mu 本草纲目
Zui Hou De Zhan Yi 最后的战役
Fa Ru Xue 发如雪
Tui Hou 退后
Bai Se Feng Che 白色风车
Mi Die Xiang 迷迭香
Ju Hua Tai 菊花台
Shuang Jie Gun 双截棍
Ren Zhe 忍者
Yang Guang Zai Nan 阳光宅男
Tian Tian De 甜甜的
An Jing 安静
Kai Bu Liao Kou 开不了口
Huo Yuan Jia 霍元甲
The tickets which i spent my precious 3 hours to book. Haha... Those were replacement tixs cos bb lost the original ones when he put it in his laptop bag and sent it for repair. But... he forgot to take the tix out!!!! *shake heads* Wasted $20 just to replace all 4 tixs... Haiz~
The stage with big screen on the left, centre & right
The rest of the stadium
Concert starts!
Opening song of the night: Huang Jin Jia
Singing "Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi " I love this song!
Taken from the screen which was very close to us :)
Singing "Nui Zai Hen Mang" So cute...
不用麻烦了。。。
Jay started singing "Hei Se You Mo" while playing his piano.
I just love it when he plays piano. Damn cool. Falling in love with him...
Can even see that he was sweating profusely on the big screen
Piano battle with NQMM's Yu Hao in a re-enact of the scene from the movie "Secret"
Jay
Yu Hao
So exciting to witness it live!
我送你离开。。。 No Fei Yu Qing here to sing " Qian Li Zhi Wai" Haha...
Special guest: Nan Quan Mama
Jay singing " Ye Qu " with 2 sexy dancers
Jay looking delighted as we sang a birthday song for him :)
Encore 1: Jay playing the drum
Encore 2:Jay playing Gu Zheng. My god... he is so talentedddddddd!!!!! <3
Just before the concert ended, NQMM's Dan Tou ran out onto the stage to the surprise of everyone and cross-dressed as a female. He chased after Jay who tried to run and avoid...
and eventually managed to "force a kiss" on Jay. Wahahaa...
Dan Tou obviously delighted that he succeeded in his plot and at the same time got the crowd all feeling high.
Final pose before the concert ends
Hee... our lst concert together! :)
Some of the merchandises which i bought - limited edition Jay's figurine, Hp strap, bag & a free memo pad :)
Some afterthoughts....
The concert lasted about 2.5 hours which passed by in a blur! Everyone was pretty high towards the end, especially at the encore part. A real pity is that he did not sing 2 of my favourite songs - "Wo Bu Pei" & "Pu Gong Ying De Yue Ding". He also did not sing "Shan Hu Hai" even though Lara was there. Weird... His sense of humour and banter with the crowd was quite good at times, cos i alway thought he belongs to those cool type of person who seldom talk. Or maybe it's only towards those paparazzi, which he said he hates a lot. And seriously, i am really amazed at the skills he possesses - piano, drum, gu zheng, guitar, nanchaku, che ling, basketball, compose songs, direct movie etc... I wonder what else does he know? Even though Jay said that he just recovered from a flu, it was still a great performance by him. The experience of being in a live concert, celebrating Jay's birthday with the rest of the crowd and of course, not forgetting the man who was there to watch it with me makes it a very memorable night for me. Can't wait for Jay's next concert! I want to go again!!! Hope can get an even better view of him next time :)

ONE NIGHT STAY AT RITZ CARLTON MILLENIA
Just went to Ritz Carlton with bb for a 1 night stay recently.
Supposed to go before he went overseas in dec and maybe could have a nice pre-x'mas celebration, but decided to postpone it to Jan till his "drinking ban" is officially over. Haha... This suits me fine anyway since the date is somewhere near my birthday and maybe can also be consider our belated 2nd anniversary celebration. So i guess it's a suitable occasion to have a nice getaway somewhere other than our usual dates. Have to say this is 1 of the most impressive hotel i have stayed before so far. But then again, i guess this is what you expect to get for a 5/6 star hotel. The service was excellent as the hotel staffs there were always ready to help and were very friendly and polite in general. The room was superb! It has almost every amenities i can think of and even extra things like hair brush, mouthwash, ice bucket and shoe polish. Even the slippers were extra comfortable! We were given a spacious deluxe kallang bay view room on the 8th level, which provides a panoramic view of the cityscape. As for the bathroom, there is only 1 word to describe it - WOW!
The building facade which is easily recognisable due to their famous octagonal windows
Our king size bed which is elevated so that we are able to enjoy the spectacular view even while lying on the bed.
The view from the bed :)
37-inch LCD television and DVD player
We even have a walk-in closet with lots of hanging space :)
My only grouse about the hotel - our mini bar which doesn't comes with any complimentary items, not even mineral water :(
All these are obviously not free as well
Lucky bb brought along a bottle of red wine. Well.. the man just can't do without his wine :)
My favourite! - Our spacious bath room with a set of luxurious bath robe with separate toilet...
Shower cubicle...
And this!!! My goodness! This is definately the main attraction of Ritz Carlton. The view is once again, stunning from the octagonal bathroom window. The bath tub here is really fantastic. It has a head rest and even comes with a waterfall style tap to fill up the bath tub. Little extras like bath salts were also provided to maximise our comfort.
I am super in love with the bathroom! <3<3<3
I even "kope" the hair brush home after that. Haha...
Can even see the Singapore Flyer from our room. Hope can try that with bb 1 day :)
View during the day
Our room is just opp. Millenia Walk
The night views are equally fantastic, which kinda adds a romantic touch to it :)
Me & my bb :)
The hotel lift lobby which overlooks the Singapore skyline at Marina. Nice! :)
Can even see the floating platform used during NDP and the still under-construction casino. I can already foresee how gorgeous the whole place must be once everything is completed, together with the fireworks in the night sky during NDP celebrations.
The hotel swimming pool
We just can't resist taking a picture here :)
This ang moh just can't do without a gym, even in a hotel
-_-"'
Went out for a nice dinner at Swiss Culture after that and rented a dvd from Suntec to watch during the night at the comfort of our room :)
Hee... Normally i seldom use the bath tub in the hotel. But because there is so much raves about Ritz's famous bath tub, i decided to buy some foam bath beforehand in order to create our bubble bath :)
bb also brought along some candles and we decided to decorate it around the bath tub. Hee... kinda romantic to be able to soak in the bubble bath, sit back, relax and watch the world goes by while enjoying a glass of red wine. If this is our home, i think i will definately soak in the bathtub everyday. Haha...
In general, it was a great experience at Ritz Carlton and if given a chance, i would definately like to go back there again, maybe try out with a marina view room next time :)
