    GRADUATION!

Yippeeeeeee!!! I have finally "graduated" after 3 freaking years of school life!

It has been a long wait. Exactly 3 years 8 months before my convocation. Yes, it is as torturing as the Japanese occupation of Singapore (Ya, i know i am exaggerating but it's not that far off). Can't believe i made it thus far. Those endless nights of headaches and hair-tearing-session over exams and projects are some of the things i certainly won't miss. Same goes for the lecturers or even the food. Ha! Maybe, i will miss hanging out with my friends though. Maybe i will miss the freedom that school life provides (not that my current job doesn't allow me to do so). Maybe i will miss the school someday a few years down the road. Maybe i will eat my words. Maybe this, maybe that... But boy am i glad to put the past behind me, at least for now! :)

Wonder when was the last time i actually look up through the roof of the school :)

The 'before' photo of the atrium before it became packed like sardines

Met up with Jas before we changed into our gown :)

    Me and my parents :)

My admission card for the ceremony

    The guest tixs

    Registration counter

The crowded corridor outside the fitting room

Everyone trying to get dressed up inside the fitting room

Finally i am in my grad. gown and the stripe is purple, my fav. colour! :)

    Best buddy 1 :)

    Best buddy 2 :)

Hui Xian, Me and Cai Jun :)

    With my parents again :)

With Eugene, who specially rushed down from work just to show me support.

    *So touched!* Hee...

The 3 bald foreheads with the ugly mortarboard hat on. Haha...

And the big bad wolf arrived to mingle with the 3 little pigs :)

Shortly after that, we were ushered into the hall for our graduation ceremony...

Receiving my "cert" on stage from the professor

    And then it's tea reception...

Finally got that "piece of paper" that i worked so hard for :)

Me and Leon, the distinction student..... from another course. Ha!

Me and Wei Xiang, another distinction student

    A group shot

Oops! The big bad wolf is here again. Haha...

Some lang kar accidently dropped the mortarboard hat into the fish pond while trying to toss it. Haha... There goes the $25o deposit *Diaoz!*

Me and Jas are smarter. We decided to try the 'hat toss' at a safer location. Lolz...

    And up we fly! :D

    Us with Teck

    The ladies :)

With Samuel, our top student *Clap! Clap!*

Posing for a formal group shot :)

The customary "hat toss". Finally i get the chance to do it! Woo hoo! :DDDDD

    *************************************************************************************

The next day, we went to Serangoon Broadway to take my grad. family portrait. Initially wanted to shoot some casual shots for fun. Unfortunately, they don't allow us to use our own camera within their shop, with the exception of hp cam. Well... Better than nothing, i thought. But guess what? I forgot to bring out my hp that day! Arrrrgghhhhhhh!!!! *Faintz*

But they never said we cannot take outside their shop. Muahahahaahhah...

    Me and bro :)

My mum felt so happy to have people put on make up for her. Lolz...

    More shots! :)

Does this look like a studio shot?

Ans: Nope it isn't and it's frreeeeee!!! I purposely chose a white wall outside as the background. Clever right? Haha...

My bro in his "graduation gown". Lolz...

    My mum. Wahahhahahahah......

Ok. Managed to steal a shot inside the shop when one of the blur staff gave permission, apparently not aware of the shop's "no camera" rule. Guess we got lucky :)

And finally, the next 2 shots are real samples of the shots taken inside the studio by the "pro-fesssss-son-nal". The actual one will only be ready in a few more weeks. Yup, the pricing is certainly not cheap and i paid a bomb for it. I suddenly realised it's quick and easy money for those photo studios just by taking a few shots -_-"' No wonder their biz is striving. But what to do? My mum wants it and anyway, it's once in a lifetime. I don't graduate everyday. Haha...

    Shot 1 - Sitting pose

    Shot 2 - standing pose

Alright. that's it. Maybe i will be back again when i got my masters.
